VSoT: Hot Food, Hot Weather, Cool Potluck

I’m back from a summer break and I must say I miss hanging out with my friends at the potluck. What I don’t miss is the heat here in Tulsa. According to the National Weather Service, the average high temperature in Tulsa is 93°F in July and August, and the record high is 115°F in August 1936. Fortunately, we haven’t broken the record, but of course it’s been 100°F +. The good thing is there’s air conditioning at the potluck venue. Isn’t air conditioning a wonderful technology? So come out and join us at Martin East Regional Library for some good food and good times with friends at this month’s potluck.

Also, don’t forget that tonight is the monthly vegan meetup at Tandoori Guys in Broken Arrow. As a plant based eater, it is always nice to enjoy a buffet without having to worry about navigating the entrees for meat. And with the Barbenheimer movie craze happening in theaters this summer, you can have the perfect pre-weekend vegan dinner and movie night.
